The ORIGINAL First Saturday Art Walk in New Orleans Arts District

The ORIGINAL First Saturday Art Walk happens in beautiful Arts District New Orleans

Due to Mardi Gras during the first wekend of the month, the ORIGINAL First Saturday Art Walk, an monthly event founded by Arts District New Orleans will take place on the SECOND SATURDAY in March. The Arts District's monthly Art Walk will take place on Saturday, March 8th from 5-8pm. The galleries and museums of ADNO are open all day, with opening receptions from 5-8pm. Individual gallery and museum hours may vary.

Our organization wishes to acknowledge that the Second Saturday art walk is a tradition founded and mounted monthly by our friends in the St. Claude Arts District. Our Second Saturday art walk is a one-time rescheduling and we will return to First Saturdays in April. The St. Claude Arts District includes some fantastic galleries, and is only about 10 minutes by car from our neighborhood, so we encourage you to do both! Many of the St. Claude galleries are open until 9pm for their art walk.

The ORIGINAL First Saturday Art Walk takes place in the #1 destination for art in New Orleans, with 18 member galleries and museums all within a short walking distance. No other area of the city features so much art in one place. Join us for libations and world-class exhibitions by local, national, and international artists.
