Annie Heisey’s Common Thread is her first solo exhibition with LeMieux Galleries. Heisey aims to show her viewers that everything that is torn down can be rebuilt. Pieces from Common Thread are hand sewn, the slow and methodical process of making something new from old scraps of fabric really represent the hopeful nature of this collection of pieces. If we as the audience can slow down and reflect we can find potential in everything.
