The Smith & Clark collection was established to provide a necessary exhibition space for emerging, mid-career and established artists primarily based in New Orleans and the surrounding areas. A majority of not so well-known artists are not given adequate exhibition opportunities in New Orleans to establish a collector base and maintain their studio practice. Smith & Clark is a catalyst for education, creativity, a gathering place for all, and a home for important and relevant artists and their ideas.
