Etam Cru’s murals are rich in Eastern European references and folkloric symbolism. The untitled mural depicts a reflective Polish man, a close friend of the group, sitting in a quiet room largely dominated by a traditional Polish rug. The scene contains other Polish references, which the group wishes to be discovered by the viewer. As with their existing mural portfolio, the duo challenges the viewer to stop, reflect, and engineer a story “In their own heads.”
