Tracey Mose | Fantasy Figures

Tracey Mose uses digital media to superimpose realistic figures onto mirrors surrounded by fantasy elements, such as birds, butterflies and clouds. Most of the “Fantasy Figures” in this series are blindfolded, speaking to the concept of cancel culture. In trying to make everyone the same, we are no longer recognizing each individual’s talents and dreams. The figures are blind to this phenomenon, and they exist to keep the fantasy alive in art, music, fashion, and life.
