Arts District New Orleans will hold its monthly First Saturday Art Walk on Saturday, October 3rd from 5-9pm in conjunction with the 46th annual Art For Arts' Sake, a celebration of the arts in downtown.
This annual rite of fall was created by the CAC in 1980, has been presented with ADNO since the early 90s, and has become one of the hottest events of the year for art lovers in and around New Orleans. Guests are invited to come Downtown for a full day of artful fun and evening openings in the 21 member galleries and museums of the Arts District. Reinvigorating this event post-pandemic, the Arts District New Orleans has since added a philanthropic component, illustrating the power of art to go beyond art's sake.
