“Coming home from the hospital after femur surgery in 2024, I was struck by the basic idea of working with primary colors and selected patterns. I chose a size and place to make this art that was convenient from a wheelchair. The patterns began to reflect the inherent contrast between the linearity of human design as opposed to natural, organic systems in nature.”

June 2025 Gallery Openings | The ORIGINAL First Saturday Art Walk

The ORIGINAL First Saturday Art Walk, a monthly event founded by Arts District New Orleans, will take place on the FIRST SATURDAY in June. The Arts District's monthly Art Walk will take place on Saturday, May 3rd from 5-8 pm. The galleries and museums of ADNO are open all day, with opening receptions from 5-8 pm. Individual gallery and museum hours may vary.
